Sports and Recreation

Sports are an important activity in Regina Pacis College. We currently have sporting facilities like Basketball and Tennis courts and a football field. We also have fields available for volleyball, hand ball, and badminton. We also have equipment used in athletics throwing events such as the shot put, javelin, discuss etc.

Sports in Regina Pacis College are of course as important as education. Some students are beginning to see reasons to engage in it. Every Children’s Day, the school celebrates it with a display of sport skills from students in each of the six houses. This is a colourful and interesting event which every student looks forward to.

The six houses, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Purple and White compete against each other in field events such as sack race, egg race, relay race, 100m race and march past. This is  categorized into senior and junior classes. At the end of the activity the house with the highest points wins the competition. The school’s football team participated in the Kenneth Imansuagbon Cup in the year 2013 and 2014. The school’s basketball team played a friendly game with Kings Velle, which we came back victorious.

Sports in Regina Pacis College are scheduled three times a week, which is Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. On Saturdays, we wake up as early as 5:50am to jog round the school after which we have acrobats in the field to exercise our body with music.
